I saw my first Ericofon on the original Twilight Zone series in the early 60's. I have been fascinated with Ericofon's since that time. In the early 70's I saw my first Ericofon in person while visiting a friend of a friend in the Hollywood Hills. I found out where they could be purchased and had my first Ericofon shortly after. My original Ericofon was retired from daily use in the 80's due to technical problems and no available parts. The phone store in my area which carried Ericofon's had gone out of business.

In early 2002 I decided to seek a repair for my original Ericofon or a replacement phone if I could find one. An internet search landed me at Richard Rose's Ericofon.com website. I was able to purchase a replacement phone and shortly thereafter started my collection, buying phones from Ericofon.com and by searching on Ebay. I now have a lifetime supply of Ericofon's.
